Connor has the best grandparents anyone could ever ask for! He is lucky enough to have both sets of grandparents very involved in his life. Grammy and Pepere babysit him 2 days a week. Mem and Pa live less than a mile down the road and see Connor several times a week as well. He loves them all very much and has his own special time with each one of his grandparents.
Connor loves to cuddle with his Grammy. For some reason he thinks she makes a fantastic pillow and falls asleep for his nap in her arms at least once a week when he is there. He loves to hear Grammy sing and read to him and smiles everytime he sees her!
Connor is great friends with his Pepere. Even when Connor was a newborn, Pepere would carry him around singing to him in both English and in French. Though he probably taught him many of the wrong words, Connor loved this time with his Pepere. Now, Pepere takes Connor for walks around the neighborhood and they both love it.
Connor smiles everytime Mem walks into the room. He giggles and shows off his best dance moves for her. Together they love to stack blocks and read books. He loves to help rearrange her cabinets by playing with the pots and pans and wooden spoons.
Connor enjoys spending time with his Pa as well. He loves to swim in Pa's heated pool especially because it is warmer than his bath! Connor loves to visit Pa at the fire station and most of all enjoys going for tractor rides.
We are grateful to have all of Connor's grandparents so close by. They have been extremely supportive from the moment Connor was born. They have helped care for Connor and helped out with Makayla while we spent time with Connor in the NICU, during his heart surgery and recovery, and during his ear tube/adenoidecomy. We would like to thank them again and hope they know that we all love them very much!
